On 15 May Alexander Vinokurov leaves the post of A1 President, and Andrey Tyasto will lead the company
Alexander Vinokurov leaves the company to head his own business, Marathon Group. The leadership of A1 will be taken over by Andrey Tyasto, who previously held the position of the company’s Managing Director.
‘Alexander Vinokurov is a capable and ambitious manager who injected new blood into A1. We are pleased with the joint work, the company has made a significant breakthrough, and this is evidenced by the quality of the portfolio and financial statements’, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Alfa Group Consortium Mikhail Fridman said.
‘We are grateful to Alexander for his attitude to work, motivation and dedication. We are honestly satisfied with the results achieved. A1 strengthened its market position and regained the ability to carry out complex transactions. We will support Alexander in his plans and believe that we will have joint partnership projects in the future’, Member of the Supervisory Board of Alfa Group Consortium German Khan said.
Prior to joining A1, Andrey Tyasto headed the Barkley Corporation for three years, from 2007 to 2012 he was the Managing Partner at the Sminex development company, and from 2002 to 2007 he was holding the position of Senior Partner and Vice-President at the Rosbuilding Group.
